Karatagi, Koppal District: Shri Beereshwar Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., Examba, Karnataka, one of South India’s largest multi-state credit cooperative societies, has expanded its branch network to 234 branches with the inauguration of its new branch at Karatagi in Koppal district, Karnataka, on September 23, 2026.
With the addition of the Karatagi branch, the Society now operates 234 branches across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa and serves more than 4.60 lakh shareholders.
As of August 31, 2026, the Society reported total deposits of Rs 5,667 crore, while its total loans and advances stood at Rs 4,038 crore, reflecting the scale of its growing operations across the three states.
The 234th branch was inaugurated with the blessings of Param Pujya Shri Nagabushan Shivayogi Shivacharya Mahaswamiji of Hebbal and Param Pujya Shri Dr.Shiddarameshwar Sharanaru of Shri Siddashram Venkatgiri Camp, Ravudkund.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including Shri Mounesh Basavaraj Dadesuguru, President, Koppal District BJP Youth Wing; Shri Manjunath Meguru, President, TMC Karatagi; and Shri P. Govindraj Shetti, Rice Mill Owner, Karatagi.
Representing the Society, Shri Yasin G. Tamboli, Director, was present along with Shri Vishwanath D. Petakar, Vice President of Shri Jyoti Multi-Purpose Souhard Sangh Nyt., Examba; Shri Bahaddur A. Gurav, General Manager; and Shri S. K. Mane, Deputy General Manager. Branch managers, staff members and Society members also attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, the Swamijis and distinguished guests appreciated the Society’s operational efficiency and its commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service.
They also acknowledged the efforts of the Society’s Founder and Co-Founder in strengthening service delivery and supporting the organisation’s continued growth and expansion.
